Allied health professionals are an essential part of the team that enables seniors to function well physically, socially and emotionally, as well as to support seniors to live independently in the home and access their local community.
We offer a broad expertise in aged care services. Our Allied Health commitment provides a qualified and hands-on Physiotherapist that aims to promote physical wellbeing for seniors and those living with disability. Providing a range of services including, but not limited to, one-on-one consultations, individual and group exercise, hydrotherapy and aqua-aerobics.
Our Allied Health professionals use their specialised knowledge and skills to provide many services for seniors. Our physiotherapy services are available each weekday for one-on-one consultations and our member centre also offers a visiting podiatrist on-site every Wednesday, who caters for all podiatry needs. Both services can arrange private in-home consultation for comfort and peace of mind.
Our experienced physiotherapist will assess your condition and provide treatment and interventions designed to promote healthy aging, reduce pain and discomfort, manage chronic conditions, restore strength and function following injury or surgery, increase range of movement and the treatment of aches and pains of the muscles, joints and spine.
Working with each individual client, our physio can support you in determining strategies to support you to live independently in your own home and what appropriate assistive equipment may be helpful such as wheelchairs, walking aids and advise on everyday activity assistive equipment. Our aim is always to empower clients to manage and control their health autonomously.
Specialising in providing education and advice about exercise and understanding the body and its movement, ensuring that you understand what your body needs to move more effectively on a day to day basis. Our physiotherapist takes the time and expertise necessary, to prescribe personalised treatment, manual therapy and exercise to manage pain, injury or disability and enable you to maintain and improve your condition between visits.
The services offered by our caring physiotherapist, who has been a valued member of our team for over 8 years, has successfully supported our clients in improving mobility and offering the hands-on care that support all seniors in feeling safer and healthier. Whether it is transfer and mobility support, walking and balance guidance, aged care strength and stretching programs, disability performance enhancement, post-surgical rehabilitation, exercise or cupping, he will work with you, in a place that is convenient to you!
