Since 1984, Beenleigh & Districts Senior Citizens Centre has been committed to all aspects of aged care including home care services, respite care, living independently at home with choice and control and most importantly supporting our members with active ageing and social inclusion. Our centre is a busy hub with up to 1000 seniors coming through the doors in any given week. 

We pride ourselves on being one of Queensland’s best Senior Citizens that also has the funding and capacity to offer services and supports to ageing seniors, people living with disability and their carers. Our centre, along with many other services is managed by the Beenleigh & Districts Senior Citizens Centre Management Committee which prides itself on being a community-based committee that is elected annually. All our services are administered by a dedicated team of management and staff. We are dedicated to building strong relationships with the wider Beenleigh community and are proudly supported by the Logan City Council. 

We understand that there is no place like home and that you value your independence. Asking for help doesn’t mean losing your independence, it’s quite the opposite. Getting a little help with daily activities means you can stay independent in your own home for longer. In fact, a little support can lead to a much better life!

We offer a wide variety of centre based activities as well as in-home and community support services. From our experience, in offering these essential services, we understand more than most that each person has their own unique needs, interests and capabilities. We value your privacy and rights to dignity and respect. We are committed to understanding and respecting your desire to live the life you choose. 

Our humble beginnings as a Senior Citizens Centre, over 30 years ago, has grown to offer important supports to seniors and younger persons living with disability that help promote your independence, social inclusion and well-being. We adapt our services and programs to support the ever-changing needs of seniors in our community and welcome both positive and constructive feedback. This website is designed to showcase our skills and expertise in providing both centre based supports and activities, as well as in home and community based services. We offer clients a small and consistent team of carers and staff who take the time to get to know you. We believe that getting to know each individual is the first and most important part of what we do.
